Still A Witness, The Female Suspected Perpetrator Of The Ojol Consumer Persecution At Pesanggrahan Was Examined By The Police

JAKARTA - The Head of the Pesangkatan Police, Kompol Nazirwan, said that the wife of an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol) suspected of molesting a student with the initials AP (22) was still a witness.

The wife of the ojol driver with the initials EM (26) has just been questioned by the Pesanggaraan Police. Investigators want to know the truth of the incident in this case.

"Yes, we have examined (EM), the status of the perpetrator is still a witness," Nazirwan said when contacted, Sunday, September 25.

Nazirwan explained that the two sides had plans to meet. They will mediate at the Pesanggrahan Police to resolve the case.

"Tentunikan kita mencari jalannya. Karena statusnya, kondisinya itu penganiyan ringan," ujarnya.

Previously, it was reported that a student with the initials AP was suspected of being a victim of EM's persecution, the wife of an ojol driver with the initials RO.

The wife was burned with jealousy when she found out that her husband RO was delivering AP as a female consumer. Unable to stand to see the incident, EP hit AP who was escorted by her husband at a boarding house in the Jakarta Pesanggrahan area on Saturday, September 17 afternoon.

The incident began when AP ordered an ojol to return to his boarding house. The victim then approached RO, the ojol driver he ordered through an application at the pick-up location. It turned out that the ojol driver was making a video call with his wife.

"I'm an ojol from campus who wants to go to a boarding house on Madrasah Street. When I got to the driver's place, he was on a video call. The cellphone position was placed on the motorbike, I think I got into the video call," said AP.

"After that, his father said he wanted to accompany the passengers first and turn off the video call. Then I was given a helmet to get ready to walk," he continued.

Shortly after arriving at the boarding house, the victim was suddenly contacted by an unknown number claiming to be the wife of the ojol driver who drove him.

"This person who was called was in front of the boarding house gate angry and broke into asking me to come down. He said he was his wife, the ojol driver," he said.

Worried about disturbing local residents, AP finally met EM. When they met, the victim and the perpetrator got into an argument until EM got emotional and beat AP.

"She was jealous and accused me of holding her husband on a motorbike. I said don't just accuse if there is no evidence, the mother is even more angry. She pulled my clothes until they finally grabbed it," he said.

Local residents then arrived and tried to break up the commotion. After that, the ojol driver and his wife were asked to leave the location.
