Migration Of Electricity Compor Bakal Sasar Class Medium, Minister Of SOEs: Can Endors Of Apartments Or Housing
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir emphasized that LPG gas migration to electric stoves does not necessarily target lower class communities. However, it could actually target middle class, such as apartment residents or housing.
"The electrical import is assumed that in the end it will enter the apartment, in housing, not necessarily the (community) below. Not necessarily," he told reporters, quoted Thursday, September 22.
For your information, the program carried out by PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) or PLN in villages such as Solo and Denpasar, Bali is a trial.
Erick said, PLN is still conducting trials in the field regarding this electric stove. Although there will be migration to an electric stove, Erick said that it will not reduce LPG gas.
"The PLN (is) a trial. The same is still the name LPG will continue," he explained.
Regarding the readiness of SOEs for the assignment of this listrik stove, said Erick, his party is still studying. Because, Erick did not want it when it was launched, it was not on target.
"We are still studying, don't let this electric stove go wrong and that doesn't mean it suddenly eliminates LPG," he said.
But what is certain, said Erick, is that electric stoves have benefits for the community. One of them is related to costs. According to Erick, the use of electric stoves is much more efficient than stoves with LPG gas.
"The context is that the use of electric stoves is also if it is calculated from its use, then other types of gas are much cheaper," he said.
