Metro Police Are Starting To Investigate The Alvin Lim Case Called 'Mafia Nest Prosecutor'
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has begun investigating the report of the Association of Prosecutors of the Republic of Indonesia (Persaja) in the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) against Alvin Lim's lawyer regarding allegations of hate speech.Originally, Alvin Lim was policed because of his statement calling 'The Mafia Nest Prosecutor'."The report has been received," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan when confirmed, Wednesday, September 21.The form of follow-up that has been carried out is studying the reporting file. The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation will handle this report.The goal is to ensure whether there is a criminal element. Then, in the future, the reporting party and the reported party and witnesses will be asked for clarification."Investigators will investigate, will follow up," said Zulpan.Meanwhile, the Persaja report has been registered with the number LP/B/4820/IX/2022/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA, dated September 20, 2022.With this report, Alvin Lim is suspected of violating Article 28 Paragraph (2) Juncto Article 45A Paragraph (2) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2016 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE) and or Article 14 Paragraph (2) and or Article 15 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 1946 concerning Criminal Law Regulations and or Article 156 of the Criminal Code.
