JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government wants an increase in the age of life expectations to 80 years by 2030 through the transformation of health services.

"Improving the age of life expectations which is currently in the 70s to 80 in 2030," said the Head of the DKI Jakarta Health Office, Widyastuti at an online seminar related to healthy homes in Jakarta, Tuesday, September 20.

According to him, the efforts made include transforming health services, especially in 31 hospitals in DKI Jakarta.

The strategy is carried out, he continued, realizing adaptive services, realizing an integrated referral service ecosystem.

Another transformation is to emphasize a healthy paradigm in health services, including public mindset, strengthening preventive and promotive health services.

The DKI Provincial Government (Pemprov) has also named a regional hospital in Jakarta, namely "Healthy House" in 32 hospitals in the capital, which is expected to be a momentum to improve health services.

Based on data from the DKI Jakarta Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the age of life expectations at birth in 2019 reached 72.79, or an increase compared to 2018 reaching 72.67.

Then the lifespan increase in 2020 reached 72.91 and in 2021 it reached 73.01.
