JAKARTA - The coach of the head of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, managed to lead the U-20 national team to qualify for the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup. The victory made the U-20 national team get the perfect points which made them come out as winners of Group F Qualifiers of the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup.

PSSI as the Indonesian football federation previously gave a contract to this South Korean coach with a duration of three years. Shin Tae-yong first joined on January 1, 2020, which means his contract will be valid until December 31, 2023.
