Indonesia Pavilion Interests Oil And Gas Sector Business Opportunities

JAKARTA - The presence of the Indonesian Pavilion delegation in the 2022 oil and gas (OGA) event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, opens up opportunities for business cooperation between domestic companies and oil and gas operators from various countries.

This opportunity for cooperation emerged after all local companies and manufacturers who are members of the Indonesia Pavilion presented their superior products.

There are several business prospects and opportunities resulting from today's business presentation session. We continue to oversee so that these various opportunities are realized," said Erwin Suryadi, Head of the Supply Chain Management and Analysis Division for SKK Migas Fees, in an official statement, Friday, September 16.

Erwin, who was also appointed as Chairman of the 2022 Indonesian Pavilion OGA Delegation, explained that the context of business cooperation in this forum is business to business or B to B, so it takes several stages to get to the transaction.

"Prospective users will certainly carry out reviews, field verification, and even a series of product trials," he explained.

However, he said, what is certain is that local companies and manufacturers that are members of the Indonesia Pavilion have various global quality standards such as ISO or ISO or ISO petroleum institute (API).

Moreover, the products from local manufacturers have been widely used by oil and gas operators or Cooperation Contract Contract Contractors (KKKS), such as British Petroleum, ENI, PetroChina, ExxonMobil, and others.

Various products made by domestic manufacturers, including SOEs presented include fitting, tubular, valve (FTV) products by PT Epsindo Jaya Pratama, PT Teknologi Rekayasa Katup, PT Dwi Sumber Arca Waja, PT Bukit Baja Nusantara, and PT Fajar Benua Indopack, PT Artas Energi Petrogas, PT Krakatau Steel Group, and PT Rainbow Tubulars Manufacture.

FTV is piping equipment, including a valve that regulates the flow of oil and gas at drilling sites.

In addition, there are engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services categories presented by PT Meindo Elang Indah, PT Elnusa Tbk, and PT Titian Services Indonesia.

Chemical & services chemical products were presented by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, PT Luas Birus Utama, PT Jotun Indonesia.

Specifically, the product for the drilling sub-surface category is presented by PT Imeco Inter Sarana, PT Sagatrade Murni, and PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the services and shipping services, logistics & IT, were presented by PT Pelayaran Nasional Ekalya Purnamasari, PT Pertamina International Shipping, and PT Cairos Utama Indonesia.

We are very surprised by the appreciation of visitors, where during the past two days the Indonesian Pavilion booth has been very crowded. Several representatives from Malaysia had come and discussed local companies development, said Erwin.

There was an interesting moment from the 2022 Malaysia OGA event, where the opening of Indonesia Pavilion was carried out by the Head of SKK Migas Dwi Soetjipto together with the CEO of Petronas, Datuk Tengku Taufik.

Also present on the occasion were the Acting Deputy for Procurement Control Rudi Satwiko, as well as Malaysian officials Petroleum Management.

This opening was witnessed by the leadership of the KKKS Supply Chain Management (SCM) Division from Pertamina SHU, HCML, ExxonMobil Indonesia, Petronas Indonesia and the top management of domestic manufacturers. They together wore red-and-white jackets.

This shows the pride of all delegates, who have succeeded in showing the work of the nation's children in international events. We hope that the work of the nation's children in international events will increase foreign exchange income through exports, and strengthen the national capacity development program being run by the upstream oil and gas industry, according to President Jokowi's direction," said Erwin.

OGA is one of the largest oil and gas exhibitions in Asia, where oil and gas industry stakeholders meet decision makers from national and international governments and oil companies.

The event, which will take place from September 13 to 15, 2022, is a place to exchange information on technology and the latest trends in the oil and gas industry.

Indonesia Pavilion's involvement in the 2022 OGA event is a follow-up to the 2022 National Capacity Forum, which was just held at the end of last July in Jakarta.
