Aragon Strong Circuit, Quartaro: But I Focused
JAKARTA - The Aragon Grand Prix this weekend. Fabio Quartararo admits Aragon is the toughest circuit he has to win in the rest of the season.
"But I'm focused, I want to make it a great race. I've never been better than the top five here before. Hopefully we can be very strong, have a good race, and be proud of ourselves," Quartararo said, quoted by Antara, Thursday.
The Frenchman even hopes that Marc Marquez, who is scheduled to race again in Aragon after recovering from injury, can help him fight against the Ducati riders.
He said this when he saw the Honda rider did not lose his speed when participating in the MotoGP test at Misano where Marquez's best record was only half a second from the fastest lap on the table.
Marquez is also the most successful driver in Aragon following five premier class wins at the Spanish circuit.
"I hope he can fight with us soon and try to destroy a bit of the plan from those red motorbikes (Ducati)," concluded Quartararo.
