MATARAM - NTB Police Chief Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto ordered the ranks of personnel on duty in districts/cities to strictly oversee the distribution of direct cash assistance (BLT) for fuel oil (BBM)."In accordance with the mandate of our leadership (NTB Police Chief) to be right on target, the police must participate in guarding and securing the distribution of BBM BLT," said Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police Kombes Artanto in Mataram, quoted from Antara, Monday, September 12.The task of escorting the distribution of BBM BLT was immediately carried out in the community by prioritizing the role of bhabinkamtibmas."In addition to bhabinkamtibmas, there are also personnel from Polsek and Polres who work at post offices and sub-district offices, where BLT is disbursed," he said.To the bhabinkamtibmas personnel, he continued, they also received orders to monitor any deductions or illegal levies from BLT disbursement."Personnel on duty must ensure that there is no misappropriation in the disbursement. The recipient data must also be checked whether or not," he said.To the recipients, Artanto also asked for cooperation. If there are indications of deductions or illegal levies, please immediately report to the police."In accordance with the mandate, this assistance does not have any deductions or levies. If there is, report it immediately," said Artanto.The NTB Social Service noted that the number of BLT BBM recipients in 2022 reached 466,426 families. They fall into the category affected by the increase in fuel prices.This figure is spread across 10 regencies/cities in NTB which are registered with beneficiary families (KPM).The distribution of BBM BLT is divided into two stages. First in September and October 2022 and phase two in November and December 2022.
