Joint Meeting Of Governments And Election Organizers, Commission II Of The DPR For The Draft Legislation
JAKARTA - Commission II of the DPR RI held a hearing with the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) and the General Elections Commission (KPU), the General Elections Supervisory Body (Bawaslu), and the Election Organizing Honorary Council (DKPP) today at the DPR Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, September 12.The DPR meeting with the government and election organizers was to discuss the draft Bawaslu Regulation (Perbawaslu).Chairman of Commission II of the DPR RI, Ahmad Doli Kurnia, said that his party would synchronize and harmonize with the Ministry of Home Affairs, KPU, Bawaslu, and DKPP regarding the draft Perbawaslu."This meeting is a follow-up meeting that we postponed yesterday to synchronize and harmonize between Bawaslu and the KPU with the DKPP. And our meeting will discuss the Draft Perbawaslu which we will read," said Doli in the meeting room of Commission II of the DPR, Monday, September 12.For information, Bawaslu has submitted 6 draft Bawaslu Regulations (Bawaslu) to Commission II of the DPR and discussed in a meeting on Thursday, September 1.The six drafts are the first, the Draft Perbawaslu Number 21 of 2018 concerning Supervision of Election Implementation.Second, Number 3 of 2018 concerning Supervision of Registration, Verification, and Determination of Political Participants in the Election of DPR and DPRD members.Third, the draft authority Number 19 of 2017 concerning the Establishment, Dismissal, and Replacement of Inter-Central Bawaslu Province, Regency/City Bawaslu, District General Elections Supervisory Committee (Panwascam), General Elections Supervisory Committee of Kelurahan/Desa, Supervisory Committee for Overseas General Elections, and Supervisory of Voting Places.Fourth, the draft authority on the Procedure of Completing the Context of Election Processing. Fifth, the Draft Legislation on the Settlement of Administrative Violations of Elections.Sixth, the draft Bawaslu on Handling the Findings and Reports of Election Violations.
