JAKARTA - Member of Commission II of the DPR RI, the PAN faction, Guspardi Gaus, is concerned about the leaking of the population of ministers and public officials published by hackers with the 'Bjorka' account. "Of course we are concerned about how confidential and valuable personal data can often be leaked in cyberspace," Guspardi told reporters, Monday, September 12. Guspardi is also worried about the alleged leak of 105 million voter data from the KPU which was uploaded by members of the breached.to forum with the identity name 'Bjorka'. Where, the alleged leak of population data is also sold in an upload on the Breached Forums website. "Yes, especially since the leaked voter data, which allegedly contains important and sensitive information, such as the full name, NIK, full address, place and date of birth, age, gender, to information about disability," said Guspardi.
The PAN politician revealed that the alleged data leak was a case in the past month. Where Bjorka also released data leaks of 26 million internet service customer data, SIM Card registration data which is claimed to amount to 1.3 billion from four operators, and 17 million PLN customer data. According to Guspardi, this incident indicates that Indonesia is in an emergency condition of personal data leakage.
"This indicates that data leaks in Indonesia are not only worrying, but have entered into an emergency condition of personal data leakage," said the legislator from West Sumatra. Guspardi also assessed that the recurrence of this alleged data leak must be stopped immediately because it is very worrying. "The government must take concrete steps to prevent data leakage from happening again," he said.
