Jokowi's Data Reportedly Bocor Hacked, Palace: No One Gets Hack
JAKARTA - Head of Presidential Secretary (Kasetpres) Heru Budi Hartono denied any personal data, including letters to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), which were leaked. He confirmed that all documents were safe.
"There is no data, fill in any documents that have been hacked," Heru told VOI, Saturday, September 10.
This was conveyed in response to the hacker's claim or hacker, Bjorka. He admitted that he had thousands of letters addressed to President Joko Widodo, including from the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).
Heru said, although no data was hacked, this effort was a form of violation. It is believed that the apparatus will take a stand soon.
"Efforts to hack have violated the law. I think law enforcement will take legal action," he said.
Previously, BIN had confirmed that no one had been hacked, as Bjorka claimed. BIN spokesman Wawan Hari Purwanto said each document was specifically secured to prevent leakage.
There are layered encryption and documents are always disguised. "Moreover, if it's a document to the President. It is always done through crypto (sandi) and crypto every time it is changed. So BIN documents to the President are not leaked," said Wawan.
Kabar peretasan ini muncul pada Jumat, 9 September di Twitter. Akun @darktracer_int mengungkap ada 79 ribu data yang diklaim milik presiden RI diunggah Bjorka ke deep web.
From the screenshots shared, the amount of data measuring 40 MB includes correspondence transactions sent to the President as well as letters sent by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).
"Fills about letter transactions and documents sent to the President include a collection of letters sent by the State Intelligence Agency," the site said.
Not only that, but Bjorka challenged the Indonesian government through his Telegram group. He said that the next target was the President of Indonesia.
"Further data leaks will come from the President of Indonesia," wrote Bjorka in the Telegram group, as is widely circulated.
