SUKABUMI - Hundreds of police personnel are still on standby at a number of public gas stations (SPBU) in Sukabumi after the government decided to increase the price of subsidized fuel oil (BBM) on Saturday, September 3.

"The deployment of these personnel is to anticipate unwanted things and regulate vehicles queuing up at a number of gas stations," said Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP SY Zainal Abidin in Sukabumi, West Java, Sunday, September 4.

"In this security, at least 200 Sukabumi Police personnel were deployed who were assisted by other security officers, such as from elements of the TNI and the Civil Service Police Unit and Sukabumi Regency," he added.

On the other hand, Zainal appealed to the public not to be provoked by issues or information that is not necessarily true and has no clear source.
