Menenen Hotel Has After, Okupansi Kembali Group Pascalibur Anak Sekolah?
JAKARTA - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) stated that there was a decrease in the occupancy rate of hotels (ocese) after the mid-year holiday period ended.
In today's presentation, Head of BPS Margo Yuwono said that the level of room occupancy (TPK) at five-star hotels in July 2020 was 49.77 percent. This figure is down 0.51 percent when compared to June 2022 which is known to be at the level of 50.28 percent.
"This is easy to understand why the TPK has decreased, because it has ended the school holidays and the G20 side event as well as several sports weeks in the region," he said on Thursday, September 1.
Margo detailed, based on the development of occupancy according to the province, the highest hotel room occupancy rate is in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) with 62.17 percent. Followed by East Kalimantan by 61.23 percent and Lampung with 57.92 percent.
"Meanwhile, the highest non-star hotels for TPK are in Lampung 30.78 percent, East Kalimantan 25.56 percent, and DIY 24.88 percent," he said.
Then, the lowest-star hotel TPK is in West Sulawesi (31.46 percent), Maluku (31.92 percent), and Aceh (32.45 percent).
In general, the average occupancy rate for star hotels throughout Indonesia in July 2022 is 49.77 percent and non-star hotels 24.69 percent.
