Demi Miracle In Cell No. 7, Vino G Bastian Survey To Children's School

JAKARTA - Vino G. Bastian is the main character in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7 Indonesia. As a big actor, he has his own way of deepening his character as a person with disabilities.

Vino plays Dodo Rozak, a disabled father who lives with his son Kartika. Their life was happy until an incident separated them from each other.

He also conducted research to be intellectually disabled. One way is by going to the school where their children study.

I went to my son's school. There is a program for special needs and I got time to share a session with the teacher about special needs, said Vino G. Bastian at the Miracle in Cell No. 7 press conference in Jakarta today, Wednesday, August 31.

"But after talking, I'm still not satisfied. So I went to the orphanage. After that, it turned out to be the same that what was suitable for this film was intellectually disabled," he said.

Marsha Timothy's husband admitted that he needed to be careful in playing Dodo Rozak. He does not want to be considered wrong or not in accordance with reality.

"That's why when I got the script, I asked if I could give it to a psychologist because I was blind about disability. I don't understand. I don't want to play with special needs," explained Vino G. Bastian.

I have to ask a psychologist first for scenes. Whether this is on track or not because even though this is the fact that it is true about disability, this is a fictitious film," he added.

Vino G. Bastian conducted research by meeting people with special needs. He also submitted the script to three psychologists to make sure the scene was not excessive.

"At the beginning, something was wrong, but when we filmed it, we started to know the limits," said Vino G. Bastian.

Vino G. Bastian's latest film, Miracle in Cell no. 7 Indonesia will premiere on September 8 in theaters.
