Just A Week Today, House Of The Dragon Announces Follow-up To Season 2
JAKARTA - The screening of the House of the Dragon series is considered a success so that it will be immediately continued to season two. This decision was taken less than a week since the premiere of the series's episode had scored a big success.
The House of the Dragon made a new history for HBO, becoming the series with the most spectators in its premiere episode broadcast. Based on Warner Bros Discovery data, the series was watched by 9.99 million viewers via HBO and HBO Max when it premiered. This figure has also increased to 20 million after four days of broadcast.
HBO Programming's executive vice president, utensil Orsi thanked all the teams involved in the series. Especially for George RR Martin, the author of the novel Fire & Blood, which was the starter of the series' adaptation. He also thanked Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik for being the showrunner of House of the Dragon.
"We are very proud of what the entire House of the Dragon team has achieved with the first season. Our cast and crew are making big challenges and exceeding all expectations," said Wino as quoted by Variety, Wednesday, August 31.
House of the Dragon itself is a prequel series from the Game of Thrones. The series, which consists of 10 episodes, has a story setting of 200 years before the Game of Thrones.
