Covering PLN's Free Selling Meteors In Online Shops, This Is A PLN Explanation

JAKARTA - The seal of the PLN meter was found to be sold for free online in the marketplace. Based on VOI monitoring on Tuesday, August 30, the PLN tin seal is priced at IDR 55,000 to IDR 58,000.

In response to this, PLN Executive Vice President Corporate Communications and TJSL Gregorius Adi Trianto appealed to PLN customers to use the official services and materials from PLN.

"Every original PLN seal installed on the Restrictions and Measurers (APP) on the customer's premises has a unique code and is registered in the PLN database," he said when contacted by VOI, Tuesday, August 30.

He added, for customer complaints, reports and other services, they can take advantage of the features in the PLN Mobile application.

"Check regularly the condition of KWh meters at home and if you find any unnatural indications, please take advantage of the digitally available communication channels at PLN Mobile," concluded Greg.

Previously, there was a case of alleged use of fake PLN meter seal which was fined Rp68 million.

PLN said the customer used an electrical meter seal that did not comply with the reference standards set by PLN.

However, after considering that the electricity in the house is still in accordance with the measurement limits at the kWh meter, it is concluded that the customer is still using electricity according to the installed power.
