JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) requires its employees to go on bicycles to go and go home every Friday. What if DKI Transportation Agency employees do not have bicycles?

"Those who don't have bicycles can take public transportation, they can take public transportation. We are also using public transportation and bicycles in the context of Transportation Day," Chaidir told reporters, Monday, August 29.
The obligation to use this emission-free vehicle has been implemented since last Friday. In its implementation, there will be supervision of DKI Transportation Agency employees and reports of their presence every time they come and go home from work.
"The first supervision every early Friday we check how many use bicycles in the morning and go home. The report every day is based on attendance and where the report comes from," explained Chaidir.
As is known, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, issued Instruction Number e-3001 of 2022.
In this instruction, all employees of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Service, both state civil servants (ASN) and other individual service providers (PJLP) are required to use bicycles as the main mode or follow-up mode to the workplace every Friday.
