4 Armed Men Of Rampok House Aubameyang And Intimidating His Wife, Moving From Barcelona More Into Reality?
JAKARTA - Barcelona player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was robbed by four gunmen at his residence recently. They broke into, robbed and beat the Gabon player.
The intruders climbed into the back garden of Aubameyang's house, located in Castelldefels. The 33-year-old was threatened with firearms and also beaten, according to police sources reported by El Pais.
The thieves also intimidated Aubameyang's wife, Alysha Behague, with a weapon until they managed to open the safe. According to eyewitness reports, some of the jewelry was taken from the house and the four men fled with a white Audi A3.
It is not clear whether Aubameyang's children were at home during the burglary. Reportedly, the Catalan police are still looking for who might be involved.
Aubameyang is not the first victim. A number of well-known football players in Spain have reportedly been targeted for robbery.
However, most of the burglary occurred when the footballer was not at home. This makes the Aubameyang incident unusual.
A frightening attack at home might make Aubameyang more determined to leave Barcelona. As is well known, the former Arsenal player is likely to return to England.
Aubameyang has been linked with Chelsea after not being included in Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez's plan, which has brought in Robert Lewandowski.
Despite scoring 13 goals from January to the end of last season after being signed free of charge from Arsenal, Aubameyang began to be replaced.
Chelsea, who is now being handled by former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel, has expressed interest in bringing the player back to the Premier League. However, Manchester United has also been linked with Aubameyang.
