This Is The Profile Of Alexander Isak Who Was Brought By Newcastle United Rp1 Trillion, Dubbed Zlatan Ibrahimovic Baru
JAKARTA New Newcastle United player Alexander Isak turned out to have a gloomy background before breaking his new club's record transfer this summer.
His family is from Eritrea, a country located in the northeastern part of Africa. The country is involved in a long civil war between competing organizations for state acquisition.
The long war made Isak's father, Teame, make an important decision in 1980. He and his wife decided to leave their country to seek asylum in Europe.
They headed for Sweden and there they were greeted with open arms by the country. Nine years later Isak was born in Solna and then started a football career with local team AIK Fotbol at the age of six.
It was at the club that Isak met with coach Nahom Ghidy. Incidentally, Ghidy also came from the backdrop of Eritrea.
"We have a special relationship because we both come from Eritrea," said Ghidy, reported by The Sun, Monday.
"The Eritrean people are proud, strong, and patriotic people, and the background has an effect. His father, Teame, is a teacher and Alexander has always received a lot of love and support from his family," added Ghidy.
At a young age of 16 years, Isak managed to make a breakthrough on AIK. He made his debut in the match in the Swedish Cup and scored despite playing for 15 minutes.
This achievement made Isak the easiest goalscorer for AIK in league history at the age of 16 199 days. He helped his team crushed FK's stersunds
Then at the age of 17 he added a goal pundi when he scored two goals against tough Rival AIK, Djurgårdens IF.
"He is Sweden's new Zlatan Ibrahimovic," said former team-mate Chinedu Obasi.
Isak's career in Europe began to climb when he was bought by Borussia Dortmund in 2017. Before moving to Germany, he was even reported to have rejected Real Madrid.
Not getting a lot of playing opportunities, Isak left for the Netherlands and joined Willem II as a loan player in 2019.
There he impressed by helping the club reach the final of the Dutch Cup for the first time since 2005. Thanks to what Isak showed, La Liga club Real Sociedad also came to tease Dortmund and bring it.
The Sociedad continued to show an exciting performance, including scoring goals to beat Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey in its first season.
The number of goals continued to grow in the following season, making Newcastle attracted. This summer the Magpies also managed to get their signatures at a value of 63 million pounds or more than IDR 1 trillion.
