Accompanied By Happy Hapsoro, Puan Flying To Lombok Mr. Guru Turmuzi And Given Special Gifts
MATARAM - The chairman of the PDI-P DPP, Puan Maharani, is in touch with TGH Turmudzi Badarudin, charismatic cleric Nahdlatul Ulama, on Lombok Island, Saturday, August 27.
Puan, who was accompanied by Happy Hapsoro's husband, arrived at Zajnuddin Abdul Madjid Airport, received by NTB Governor H Zulkieflimansyah along with the NTB Provincial Leadership Communication Forum. Also welcomed the members of the Indonesian House of Representatives, H Rachmat Hidayat, who is also the chairman of the NTB PDI-P DPD along with other NTB PDIP functionaries.
After a short break in the airport VIP room, the group then went straight to the TGH Turmudzi residence which was at the Qomarul Huda Islamic Boarding School complex in Bagu Village, Peringgarata District, Central Lombok. Welcoming Puan's arrival at the door of the house, Mrs. Nyai Hj Halimah and Hj Baiq Hidayatul Aini.
Accompanied by the chanting of salawat from thousands of students, Puan then stepped into the inside room of the house where TGH Turmudzi was waiting. The highly respected senior NU Kiai is on the break.

To the students, the Governor said that Puan was the grandson of the founder of Indonesia who is also the proclaimer of Indonesia's independence as well as the first president of the Republic of Indonesia, Soekarno. Puan also conveyed that Puan was the daughter of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to 5th Hj Megawati Soekarnoputri.
"Mbak Puan is now the Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives. Previously he served as Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture who coordinated ministers. Hopefully, he will still be given health by God to continue serving the nation and state," said the Governor.
Meanwhile, Puan emphasized that her friendly visit to TGH Turmudzi was to continue the tradition of sewing a friendship that began with Bung Karno's grandfather with all NU scholars in Indonesia. This tradition was then continued by his late father Taufik Kiemas and his mother Hj Megawati Soekarnoputri.
"This is not the first meeting. God willing, there will be another meeting that will bring more useful things," said Puan in a written statement received by the editor.
He emphasized that building this large nation cannot be alone. It takes mutual cooperation. So that the friendship with TGH Turmudzi who is also the PBNU Mustaysar Council is believed that there will be no more misunderstandings in building the nation and state.
