Officially As A Assistant To Francesco Bagnaia In Ducati Starting MotoGP 2023, Esea Bastianini: This Is My Dream, Now Becomes A Reality

JAKARTA - Ducati Lenovo officially appointed Enea Bastianini as Francesco Bagnaia's duet partner in MotoGP 2023. He will fill the position of Jack Miller who moved to KTM.

Ducati actually had doubts about choosing between Bastianini or Jorge Martin. However, after a few days after the Austrian MotoGP, the choice finally fell to the Gresini rider.

Bastianini said she was happy to be able to wear the red color belonging to the official Ducati team starting next year. "It was my dream, and now it has come true," Bastianini said on the official Ducati website.

"In the last two years in MotoGP, I have learned a lot and developed, and I believe it can only develop again with engineers and people from the Lenovo Ducati Team!" he continued.

He also thanked the Ducati Lenovo bosses for giving him the opportunity. The Italian racer also thanked Gresini for her extraordinary cooperation during the 2022 season.

Although he has officially joined Ducati Lenovo, Bastian did not want to disappoint Gresini. He said he would try to close 2022 in the best possible way.

"Before embarking on a new adventure as a Ducati manufacturer with a total commitment and the spirit of the right team," he said.
