Komnas HAM Plans To Hand Over The Results Of The Investigation Into The Case Of Brigadier J's Death To The Police Next Week

JAKARTA - Head of Komnas HAM Ahmad Taufan Damanik, stated that his party will immediately submit the results of the investigation into the death of Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J to the Special Police Team.

Meanwhile, according to Taufan, Komnas HAM is still looking for the right time to meet the police leaders. So he said, the submission of the results of the investigation will be sought next week.

"Both parties are still busy. So, an vacant time is being arranged, when all the leaders of Komnas HAM as well as the leaders of the Police can meet. We will try next week," said Taufan to reporters, Friday, August 26.

Taufan said that until now both the Investigation Team of the National Police Headquarters and Komnas HAM were still resolving all matters related to the case of Brigadier J.

Investigators, he said, are also still exploring the statements of the witnesses who helped Ferdy Sambo in designing scenarios and engineering the incident of Brigadier J's death.

"It depends on the readiness of the time. Both parties are busy, the Police are also busy investigating the main suspects," said Taufan.

Previously, Taufan said Komnas HAM would submit a report regarding the case of Brigadier J's death to the National Police Chief, President Joko Widodo and the Indonesian House of Representatives.

"It's finished, it's finished, we are preparing a report to be submitted to the National Police Chief and our special team has asked for this schedule. Maybe Monday can only be done, then now we are also preparing a complete report to be submitted to the president and DPR RI," said Komnas HAM chairman Ahmad Taufan.
