Together With 100 Santri, Vice President Plants Superior Oil Palm Sprouts In Riau
PEKANBARU - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin planted superior quality hybrid oil palm sprouts with 100 students of the Riau Technology Islamic Boarding School on Jalan Lintas Sumatra, Siak Hulu Kacan, Kampar Regency, Riau.
"Today, I am grateful to witness the planting of oil palm from among the students of santri, as well as I have received various information on the development of oil palm and the discovery of superior seeds," said Vice President Ma'ruf Amin accompanied by Riau Governor Syamsuar and other officials.
Vice President Ma'ruf Amin is proud of the collaboration carried out in the success of the palm oil-based santripreneur program by the Indonesian Palm Oil Farmers Association (Apkasindo), local governments and palm oil companies.
Ma'ruf Amin also hopes that Islamic boarding schools will not only serve as centers of Islamic education, but also become centers of economic empowerment for the people in Indonesia, related to the financial sector as well as the real sector as well as the production sector.
"This is a collaboration that I think is very good and involves students," said the Vice President.
In addition to reviewing the activities of palm-based santripreneurs, the Vice President also witnessed the handover of seeds by the Governor of Riau to farmer groups from West Papua, West Kalimantan and Riau Province.
Vice President Ma'ruf Amin and his entourage also saw the red edible oil (M3) technology developed by the Palm Oil Research Center and DPP Apkasindo together with several palm oil companies.
After reviewing the activities of palm-based santripreneurs at the Riau Technology Ponpes, the Vice President accompanied by the Governor of Riau left for the Roesmin Nurjaddin Air Force Base by car. Furthermore, the Vice President and his entourage to Jakarta were released by the Governor of Riau and Forkopimda Riau.
