PTPP Held Food Distribution And Scholarship Delivery
JAKARTA - The state-owned construction company, PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) shows concern for others by carrying out various series of social activities. The activity was also carried out in commemoration of the 69th birthday of PTPP which falls on 26 August.
In the event that was held this morning, Thursday, August 25, PTPP again distributed free basic food packages to workers and the community around the company.
The assistance was given as a tangible manifestation of the company's concern for workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and in commemoration of PTPP's birthday. In the distribution of free basic food packages, PTPP distributed 1,069 packages.
The basic food packages distributed to workers and the public consist of 5 kg of premium rice, 1 kg of sugar, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1 can of sardines, 5 packs of instant noodles, 1 sweet soy sauce measuring 225 ml, and 1 can of sardines. The food packages were distributed directly to workers and communities around PTPP's office environment.
In addition to carrying out the distribution of basic food packages, to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic for workers in the company's environment, PTPP also held the PPintar Scholarship for the workers' children.
PTPP received documents from 59 participants and it has been verified that 45 participants are eligible to receive the PPintar Scholarship this morning. PTPP has symbolically handed over PPintar Scholarships to 7 representatives of scholarship recipients, starting from the equivalent Elementary School (SD)/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) level, Junior High School (SMP)/Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTS) equivalent, and School level. Senior High School (SMA)/ Vocational High School (SMK)/ Madrasah Aliyah (MA) equivalent.
The two activities that took place this morning were attended, inaugurated, and symbolically handed over directly by Agus Purbianto as Director of Finance & Risk Management and PTPP Management. The event was held on Tuesday (21/08) at PTPP Head Office, Jakarta.
