Survey Results, 56.7 Percent Of Respondents Satisfied With The Performance Of The National Police Chief General Sigit In Handling The Murder Case Of Brigadier J
JAKARTA - The results of the Flow Survey Indonesia (ASI) survey stated that 70.4 percent of respondents were satisfied with the performance of the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo in handling the murder case of Brigadier J.
"A total of 70.4 percent of respondents said they were satisfied with the performance of the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo in handling the shooting incident of Brigadier J," said ASI Executive Director Ali Rif'an in the survey results received in Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, August 24.
The figure of 70.4 percent was obtained from a combination of quite satisfied at 56.7 percent and very satisfied at 13.7 percent. Meanwhile, 25.2 percent are dissatisfied, which is a combination of 18.0 percent less satisfied and 7.2 percent very dissatisfied.
"The 4.4 percent admitted they didn't know/didn't answer," said Ali.
Not only that, said Ali. Regarding the attitude of the National Police Chief, Sigit, who will take firm action against Police officers involved in gambling, the public has also considered positively.
"The attitude of the National Police Chief who will take firm action against Police officials involved in online gambling is considered positive. As many as 71.2 percent of respondents considered that the attitude was firm,” said Ali Rif'an.
According to Ali Rif'an, because the National Police Chief was swift and transparent in handling the shooting of Brigadier J, the issue did not affect public perception of the government's performance.
This means that, in the midst of the shooting incident of Brigadier J, which was rolling so fast for more than a month, it turns out that public perception of the government's performance remains positive.
“Public perception of the government's performance is also not affected. As many as 73.1 percent of the public said they were satisfied with the performance of the Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin government. While those who are not satisfied are 24.4 percent. As for those who claimed not to know/didn't answer, 1.4 percent, “said Ali Rif'an.
The survey was conducted on 18-23 August 2022 in 34 provinces in Indonesia by means of a telesurvey, in which respondents were interviewed by telephone using a questionnaire.
The sampling method is multistage random sampling and the number of respondents is 1,200 respondents with a margin of error of around 2.9 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
