“Our collaboration with Paragon Pictures has previously produced a very high quality content. Seeing their ability to produce and their understanding of Indonesian film audiences makes us believe that Kalian Pantas Mati, which will be circulated abroad with the international title Tainted Soul, will present an interesting story," said Nelson Mok as WME Independent Agent.

The director, Ginanti Rona, explained that you deserve to die, showing the story of Rakka who was born with the ability to communicate with the spirits of the dead. This ability burdened him and made him bullied at school. This is what makes it different from the Korean version.

"What distinguishes the Korean version of the film Mourning Grave from You Deserve to die is that the situation is designed with local culture that has close representation," said Ginanti Rona.
