PSSI Releases The Third Jersey Of The National Team With A Black Color, Brings Maritime Spirit

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) has officially released the third jersey for the Indonesian national team. With an all-black feel, the jersey carries the theme of maritime spirit.

In the latest upload on the PSSI Instagram account on Friday, August 19 afternoon, the latest design of the jersey produced by Milis was seen by Yanto Basna and U-19 goalkeeper Cahya Supriyadi as models.

In the statement made, PSSI explained that this third costume will be present as an alternative for the national team which can also be worn in various situations.

“Alternatives in various situations. The third jersey for the Indonesian national team is here as an alternative to the home and away jersey," PSSI wrote on Instagram.

This third jersey design is dominated by black and red and white accents on the collar circle. The black color was deliberately chosen as the dominant color so that the jersey can also be worn both inside and outside the field.

"This jersey is also designed to be suitable for on the field and a casual sporty style off the field," continued the statement.

As for the goalkeeper's costume, the latest jersey is dominated by a striking color, namely purple. Where there are white stripe accents on the sleeves and neck.

With the choice of black, on the player's jersey there is also a wave pattern motif that is visible from a certain side. The choice of motif has a philosophical meaning with the theme of maritime spirit.

"With the maritime spirit, it is reflected in the pattern of waves in this alternative jersey. Hopefully, it can bring the Indonesian national team to glory," wrote PSSI.

With the release of this third jersey, it will complement the national team's appearance when competing. Previously, the home jersey was dominated by red and the away jersey was white and green.
