JAKARTA - A number of invited guests began to enter the Merdeka Palace, to take part in the Commemoration Ceremony of the Seconds of the Proclamation.

One of the invited guests named Lidya and several of her friends from Palembang admitted that they were enthusiastic about participating in the Commemoration Ceremony of the Seconds of the Proclamation directly at the Merdeka Palace.

He said the Presidential Palace will hold a commemoration of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia openly by inviting the public on 17 August 2022 to the Presidential Palace Complex.

According to him, the Merdeka Palace will invite around 2,000-3,000 people to participate directly in the commemoration of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.

"We add that this year we also invite a limited number of people, approximately 1,000-2,000 people, approximately 2,000 in the morning (Red and White Flag Raising Ceremony) and 2,000-3,000 in the afternoon (Red and White Flag Lowering Ceremony). , "he explained.

In addition, Heru continued, the ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, heads of state institutions, and a number of high-ranking officers in the TNI and Polri were also invited.

According to him, the public can receive an invitation to attend the commemoration of the Indonesian Independence Day at the Palace by registering. The system used is to prioritize the fastest registrants.
