At The Special Session, The Chair Of The Bogor DPRD Prays For Ade Yasin Who Is Entangled In Corruption: Good Luck
BOGOR - Chairman of the DPRD for Bogor Regency, West Java, Rudy Susmanto prayed for the inactive Regent of Bogor Ade Yasin during the Special Plenary Meeting in Cibinong, Bogor which took place Tuesday, August 16.
"Let's also pray for our leader Hj Ade Yasin, who is currently undergoing legal proceedings, hopefully it will be smooth sailing," he said at the end of the plenary meeting with the agenda of listening to the virtual state speech of President Joko Widodo alias Jokowi, Antara, Tuesday, August 16.
Rudy also invited the Bogor Regency Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) to pray for Ade Yasin, who is currently facing trial at the Bandung Corruption Court, over the alleged bribery case of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) auditor.
Rudy hopes that all elements of the Bogor Regency community will always be given cohesiveness in carrying out their duties and roles in building Bogor Regency to recover faster and rise stronger.
"We take the meaning of the 77th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day to jointly strive for recovery in various sectors and continue the development goals that we have jointly proclaimed," said Rudy.
On that occasion, Rudy also invited the entire community of Bogor Regency to pray for the nation's leaders who have fought for Indonesia. Also pray for Bogor Regency leaders who have contributed to building Bogor Regency.
"And especially for our brother, the late Haji Ahmad Tohawi, a member of the DPRD from the Golkar faction who a few days ago was called by Allah SWT. Hopefully his enthusiasm in fighting for the rights of the community continues to be present in this room," he said.
Rudy said that the momentum of independence day should be used as a place to reflect on the values that constitute the nation's identity in dealing with current and future situations.
What the president said about the challenges that are not easy to face due to the impact of the pandemic and Russia's war with Ukraine, said Rudy, must be answered with the sincerity of all elements of society, especially by the state apparatus in Bogor Regency.
"We have to actualize the values of Pancasila. As a state ideology, Pancasila has worked well in the midst of our efforts to deal with difficult situations during the pandemic," said Rudy.
He also said that the vision and mission of regional development must be in line with the values of Pancasila, including the work ethic of local governments.
"The spirit of mutual cooperation, maintaining unity and integrity, and realizing social justice must be contextualized in our development today and in the future," he said.
