Deolipa Claims That Bharada E Intervened, The Letter Of Revocation Of Attorney Was Considered Odd
JAKARTA - The letter of revocation of attorney signed by Bharada Richard Eliezer or known as Bharada E was claimed to be odd by his former lawyer, Deolipa Yumara. He even suspected that there had been intervention.
"This is not a falsification of documents. But someone intervened or ordered him (Bharada E) to revoke his power of attorney," said Deolipa at a press conference in the Depok area, Saturday, August 13.
He said Bharada E usually gave the date and time every time he signed. "But now it's not there anymore," he said.
"As professional lawyers, we have an agreement with him (to provide a signature and time for writing the letter," continued Deolipa.
Thus, it is strongly suspected that Bharada E when writing the letter was under pressure from certain parties. "This gives a code that (Bharada E, ed) is under pressure," he said.
Furthermore, Deolipa said he received the letter on Thursday, August 11. The letter of revocation of power was also on his desk without knowing who the sender was.
"Sent to the office in Condet, Thursday. I don't know who sent it," he said.
For information, Bharada E has changed lawyers twice. First, namely, Andreas Nahot Silitonga and turned to Deolipa Yumara and Burhanuddin.
Now Bharada E has appointed another lawyer named Ronny Talapessy.
