Commission III Flys To Jambi In Recess, Visits Brigadier J's House?

JAKARTA - Commission III of the DPR flew to Jambi during the recess period on August 8-12 yesterday. Incidentally in Jambi there is a family home of Brigadier J. Will you come?

Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives Adies Kadir said his party had no plans to visit the home of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat, a murder victim who died in July 2022.

Adies emphasized that Commission III's visit to Jambi was to absorb inputs and aspirations and to discuss the budget with Commission III partners of the DPR. Starting from the Jambi Regional Police, Jambi BNNP, Jambi High Court, Jambi Kumham Regional Office, to the Jambi High Court.

"So our agenda is to visit working partners to ask for input, whether it's what is needed and then what are the cases that stand out from the public's attention, how to solve it, what kind of budget, that's what we discussed with our partners," said Adies, quoted by Antara. from the Parliament's official website, Saturday 13 August.

Adies said that all members of Commission III of the DPR pay high attention to the handling and investigation of the case of Brigadier J's murder.

The DPR RI recess period, continued Adies, caused Commission III to not directly ask for an explanation from the Police. However, Adies confirmed that on August 23, his party will have a working meeting with the National Police Chief to discuss the progress of the investigation into the case.

"Starting from the leadership to the members, we always communicate with policy makers at the National Police Headquarters so we continue to monitor it. Since we're in recess, we can't have a meeting. We only entered on August 16th and were only able to start the meetings on August 18th, because 16-17 is a state ceremony, so we will start on the 18th. We have a plan for a working meeting with the National Police Chief, on August 23 it is planned to be on the agenda as well as Komnas HAM and LPSK," explained Adies.

Adies said that Commission III of the DPR was waiting for the results of the work of the Special Team for the National Police Headquarters and wanted to hear firsthand the developments in the case of the murder of Brigadier J.

“We at Commission III see that the Chief of the National Police in this case is carrying out fairly transparent and very accountable and fast movements. We see how he deactivates, then establishes a suspect quickly and the case also goes fast. So Mr. Chief of Police, we give our appreciation to Mr. Chief of Police, in this case making the public can know (this case) clearly, including things that have motives and all kinds of things. We also want to hear firsthand the developments and what the end of the case will be," concluded Adies.
