Munhajat Trying Stage From Bintan With Love, Warming Up Before 'Funny' At Synchronize Fest 2022

JAKARTA - The banyol dangdut group from Bogor, Munhajat is scheduled to perform at the Synchronize Fest 2022 music party on the second day, October 8. As a warm-up, they first acted in the From Bintan With Love event made by the Sinema Pinggiran video collective.

Munhajat was founded in 2020. They began to introduce themselves through a single work entitled Ngebet Kawin which was released one year ago.

The group then prolific performing in various places, also releasing subsequent songs such as Agoy and Judi.

This year, Munhajat's three songs are included in their debut short album entitled Dangdut Swadaya along with two other songs, namely BAB Ikhlas and Follow Larangan.

On the From Bintan With Love stage which was held last Thursday night, Munhajat did not appear alone. They were accompanied by a number of musical groups such as Dirty Ass, Arc Yellow, Temarram, Larung, Ervin Kumbang, Loser, and Ali Nugraha from Speak Up.

Meanwhile, the return of director Allan Soebakir and the Sinema Pinggiran group to Jakarta, brings good news for music activists who plan to visualize their songs in the form of video clips.

The From Bintan With Love event is a marker for Pinggiran Cinema which returns to Jakarta, after pulling over to the Tanjungpinang area, Bintan, Riau Islands.

"After two years in Bintan, we are finally trying our luck again in Jakarta. Hopefully this will be a good start," said cinema fan Allan Soebakir in a written statement.

On the other hand, Pinggiran Cinema also has a nearby project to work on, which is to make a short documentary about the Flying Eagle Collective's progress in the Tangerang music scene.
