CICURUG - Cicurug Police, Sukabumi Resort, arrested a student with the initials SM (22) who is suspected of having committed fraud and theft of motor vehicles (curanmor) by pretending to buy a motorcycle.

According to Parlan, the suspect's arrest began when the suspect visited the victim's house in Sindang Palay Village RT01/01 Pasawahan Village, Cicurug District, Sukabumi Regency.

He pretended he wanted to buy a black Honda Beat motorcycle. Like prospective buyers who have brought money to transact, these unscrupulous students look serious in bidding for the motorbike while asking for documents for completeness of motorized vehicle ownership, both STNK and BPKB.

The unsuspecting victim offered a cup of coffee to the suspect who was immediately greeted by SM. Finally the victim went into the kitchen to make coffee for the young man.

Incidentally at that time no one else was at home and the victim was in the kitchen, SM immediately moved quickly to take away the victim's motorbike. The owner who was about to serve coffee was surprised when he saw the suspect and his favorite motorcycle missing.

The victim then asked his brother for help to chase down the suspect, who also received help from local residents.

When about to enter the T-junction, the company Indolakto Cicurug. The victim screamed and asked for help from the company's security guard and finally SM was arrested and immediately taken to the security post.

The Cicurug Police officer who received a report of a theft immediately rushed to the location, worried that something undesirable would happen such as a mob rampage or taking the law into his own hands. The suspect was eventually taken to the Cicurug Police Headquarters for questioning.

"Currently SM is still being asked for information to develop this case whether the action he did was the first time he had done it or it had been several times, we are still developing it," he added.

He also appealed to residents who want to sell motorbikes or other types of vehicles to be accompanied by other people who are trusted and do not easily trust potential buyers.

In addition, it is not easy to submit the documents for the motorized vehicle and always accompany the prospective buyer if he wants to try the condition of his vehicle or test drive.
