Regarding The Plan To Revoke The Ahok Era Gubernatorial Regulation, Governor Anies Is Accused Of Only Winning The Gubernatorial Election
JAKARTA - DKI DPRD member Anggara Wicitra Sastroamidjojo assesses that Governor Anies Baswedan broke his promise because he did not also revoke the Gubernatorial Regulation of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok regarding the eviction.
"His rhetoric is only for the sake of winning the gubernatorial election (gubernatorial election), but does not measure what is promised is realistic. Now it's a broken promise," said Anggara, Friday, August 12.
According to the DKI Jakarta Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) politician, Anies is not serious about revoking the Governor's Regulation (Pergub) Number 207 of 2016 concerning Controlling the Use/Control of Land Without an Entitled Permit.
In fact, Governor Anies only has two months remaining in office, ending on October 16, 2022.
Deputy Chairperson of Commission E of the DKI DPRD suspects that the governor's regulation is still needed during Anies Baswedan's term of office, so the DKI Governor chose not to revoke it.
"During the first campaign, Pak Anies always promised not to carry out evictions, but it turns out that it was just a hoax and played on sentiments without careful study," he said, quoted from Antara.
Meanwhile, previously, the Head of the Legal Bureau of the DKI Provincial Government, Yayan Yuhanah, said that the regulation could not be revoked in 2022 because it had not been included in the planning program for the preparation of regulations.
"Even if it is revoked, it can't be this year, it has to be next year because it was first included in the program for drafting the governor's regulation in 2023," he said in Jakarta, Monday (8/8).
Yayan added that his party is ready to accept public input which will be reviewed in the evaluation of the governor's regulation on Ahok's legacy.
"If there is input from the public to review a regulation, we will examine whether this is still appropriate, whether it is still needed," he said.
Previously, the People's Coalition Against Eviction (KRMP) visited the Jakarta City Hall demanding the revocation of Gubernatorial Regulation 207 of 2016 concerning Controlling the Use or Control of Land Without an Entitled Permit, on Thursday (4/8).
Their arrival to the Jakarta City Hall has been repeatedly carried out and had an audience with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and was attended directly by Anies Baswedan on April 6, 2022.
The results of the meeting agreed that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government would review the governor's regulation.
However, until now there has been no significant result by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government regarding the demands for the revocation of the 2016 DKI Pergub 207.
The community group assessed that the eviction pattern used today is still the same or being replicated.
"The same pattern is still being replicated, there is no deliberation, there is also the use of violence as happened in Tebet Dalam," said community group representative Charlie Albajili during an action at Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (10/2).
