First Traded Simultaneously, Two Of Three Newcomer Stocks Jump High: One Drops 10 Percent
JAKARTA - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) officially listed three new entrants simultaneously today (Tuesday, 9 August). The three stocks include PT Rohartindo Nusantara Luas (TOOL), PT Klinko Karya Imaji Tbk (KLIN), and PT Segar Kumala Indonesia Tbk (BUAH).
For some investors, stocks of newcomers are often the target of seeking money. Moreover, on several occasions, the stock price of newcomers can soar on the first day of trading.
Likewise with the three stocks of newcomers today. Two of them immediately shot.
The two stocks are TOOL and FRUIT. TOOL's shares rose 34.65 percent from the initial price of Rp127 to Rp171, while BUAH's shares rose 24.74 percent from Rp388 to Rp484.
Citing IDX trading data, TOOL's share price increased 2,964 times with a value of IDR 826.06 million. Meanwhile, BUAH shares had more transactions or reached 9,912 times worth Rp22.68 billion.
Unlike TOOL and BUAH, KLIN's stock fell on the first day of trading. The price fell 10 percent from the initial price of Rp. 100 to Rp. 90.
Here, KLIN shares only form one price, namely Rp. 90 with a record transaction of 1,576 times with a value of Rp. 1.67 billion.
As for the record for this first day, TOOL's stock capitalization reached Rp350.55 billion, BUAH Rp484 billion, and KLIN Rp117.67 billion.
