JAKARTA - Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto wrote a book about the thoughts of the First President of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno. The book entitled 'Sound of Nationality' was launched on Sunday, August 7, in Jakarta.
According to Azisoko Harmoko, one of the speakers at the launch of the book, young people need to read the book 'Sound of Nationality' in order to foster a love for the nation's culture.
"This is what we have to teach, the love of our nation's culture, do not let it go extinct. I hope the younger generation reads this book, curating the culture of their own nation so that our nation's culture is stronger," said Azisoko at Bentara Budaya, Jakarta.
Azisoko also said that in the book Hasto wrote a lot about culture, which was linked to everyday experiences.
Through Hasto's 12 writings related to cultural issues, Hasto also wrote various things such as Tri Hita Karana, Mewayu Hayuning Bawono, and Pancasila. Everything describes a matter of balance in life.
