Erick Thohir Appoints Hadjar Seti Adji As Director Of HC And WIKA Development

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir appointed Hadjar Seti Adji as Director of Human Capital and Development of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk or WIKA.

Hadjar replaced the previous director who was assigned to another state-owned company.

The appointment of Hadjar Seti Adji was approved at the WIKA extraordinary general meeting of shareholders (EGM) which was held today, Friday, August 5, 2022.

"The presence of Hadjar Seti Adji is a form of refreshment to maintain the company's performance in order to answer the trust of shareholders and the public," said President Director Agung Budi Waskito, in an official statement, Friday, August 5.

Accordingly, the Company's Management becomes as follows:

WIKA's New Contract Reaches IDR 13.8 Trillion

Agung said that in terms of performance, WIKA had won new boxes of Rp. 13.8 trillion as of June 2022, an increase of 31.4 percent compared to the same period last year.

"The revenue was contributed mostly by the infrastructure and building sectors, followed by construction support industries, energy and industrial plants, as well as realty and property," said Agung.

In the series of new contracts won by the company, said Agung, there is a Road and Bridge Preservation project in Bali entrusted by the PUPR Ministry. This project serves as infrastructure to support the G20 event in October 2022.

Furthermore, Agung said that the Road and Bridge Preservation project in Bali is a form of government trust through the Ministry of PUPR in WIKA in working on infrastructure that will be passed by heads of state at world-class events.

In addition to Road and Bridge Preservation in Bali, WIKA is also working on a number of G20 supporting projects, including the construction of the Labuan Bajo-Tana Mori road and bridge as well as revitalizing the VVIP room at Jakarta's Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport and Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali.

"The various projects that have been achieved will become capital for the company's business continuity going forward," he said.

Meanwhile, in line with the Company's business model, in the second quarter of this year, the Company has successfully divested its two associated entities, namely PT Jasamarga Kunciran Cengkareng and PT Prima Terminal Petikemas.

Agung also explained that this step is a form of capital recycling that can create more space for the company to fulfill future investments.

"At the same time increasing the company's cash as new working capital so that it can focus more on its core business," he said.
