Professional Golfers Show Off On The Second Day Of The Indonesia Open 2022, Syukrizal Is The Best Representative For The Host

JAKARTA - Professional golfers are starting to show off at the Indonesia Open 2022. Four pro golfers have made it through the cut-offs on the second day of the match, Friday, August 5.

They are Syukrizal S, Danny Masrin, Indra Hermawan, and Jonathan Wijono. The only amateur golfer who passed the cut-off tournament with a total prize of 500 thousand US dollars is Almay Rayhan Yagutah.

Syukrizal became the Indonesian golfer with the most brilliant performance on the second day. He racked up 138 strokes or 6 under par.

The golfer from Aceh admitted that he was very happy to be able to pass the cut-off at the Indonesia Open. This is the first time he has passed the cut-off in a prestigious tournament such as the Indonesia Open.

"Hopefully I can continue to play well in the last two days," said Syukrizal.

On this second day, Syukrizal had to complete 25 holes. He admits it made him more tired but didn't dampen his spirits.

"Of course it feels more tired, but I don't want to feel burdened. I just play as is, don't want to be pressured by targets and the results are encouraging," he said.

For now, the top position of the standings is still occupied by Thai golfer, Itthipal Buranatanyarat, who collected 131 strokes or 13 under par. Chang Wei Lun followed in second with 12 under par. However, he had just finished playing 16 holes.
