A Maximum Of 2 Months, Komnas HAM Will Wait For The Results Of The Re-autopsy To Reveal The Death Of Brigadier J
JAKARTA - Commissioner of Komnas HAM Choirul Anam, stated that his party would wait for the results of the re-autopsy of Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.
Anam estimates that the results of the re-autopsy will come out before two months. Therefore, all parties are asked to be patient while waiting for the results of the re-autopsy which will form the basis for the construction of a series of events.
"From the start, it was said that there was an exhumation model autopsy. Our experience from the start would suggest a maximum of 2 months, so we have to wait for it in an orderly fashion," Anam told reporters, Tuesday, August 2.
Anam said that the results of the re-autopsy to be released by the Forensic Doctor Team did not represent one part of the series that will be carried out by Komnas HAM. However, he said, the results of the exhumation would reveal one incident that occurred in the case of the death of Brigadier J.
"That part is important to see whether this incident ended with violence or not. Violence outside of shootings is important, but as a construction event, we have already started, regarding the cell dump, about the CDR, and so on," he explained.
However, Anam confirmed that Komnas HAM would wait for the results of the re-autopsy, which is currently in the process of forensic examination.
"Surely we will wait for the results of the exhumation," he said.
Previously, the attorney for the family of Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J, Kamaruddin Simanjuntak, claimed to have known the results of the re-autopsy which was carried out on Wednesday, July 27, last. Kamaruddin even revealed about the irregularities in the corpse of his client.
However, the National Police Headquarters firmly denied that Brigadier J's re-autopsy had been completed.
"The results of Brigadier J's re-autopsy have not been released yet," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Pol Dedi Prasetyo, Tuesday, August 2.
Dedi estimates that the results of the re-autopsy will come out approximately two to four weeks from the time of the autopsy. Therefore, he asked all parties to be patient while waiting for the results of the autopsy to come out and be announced by experts.
"Later on, the Indonesian Forensic Doctors Association (PDFI) and forensic doctors (dokfor) will present the results of the anatomic pathology laboratory test about two to four weeks from the time of the second autopsy," he said.
