Corruption Case Of Procurement Of Meteorological Equipment At The Industry And Trade Department Of Dompu NTB Rises Investigation
MATARAM - The handling of cases of alleged corruption in the procurement project for meteorological equipment and vehicles at the Department of Industry and Trade (Disperindag) Dompu, NTB in the 2018 budget year has moved to the investigation stage.
The Head of the Intelligence Section of the Dompu State Prosecutor's Office, Indra Zulkarnain, confirmed that he was related to the investigation of the case."
Yes, the case has been investigated," Zulkarnain said, as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 1.
This became the basis for special criminal investigators to conduct searches at the Dompu Disperindag office and the Dompu Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKAD).
A number of searched documents which have now been confiscated have become the basis for investigators to examine witnesses, including the Head of the Department of Industry and Trade, Dompu and the Head of the BPKAD Office, Dompu.
"So, all parties have been examined, including procurement partners," he said.
The progress of the investigation is still waiting for the results of the calculation of state losses from the auditors. The results of the audit will be the investigator's final effort before entering the stage of determining the suspect.
"Later, after the results (of the audit), we will enter into the determination of the suspect," he said.
Based on data from the LPSE of Dompu Regency, it was stated that the budget for the procurement of meteorological equipment and other facilities required a budget of at least Rp1.42 billion. The procurement was carried out by a company with the initials FA.
This procurement was also entered into the prosecutor's pocket based on the findings of the Dompu Inspectorate. There are allegations of inflating the price of goods with a difference of Rp. 167 million from the nominal procurement.
