It Turns Out That The Victims Of Death Persecuted By Father And Son In Kramat Jati Are No Longer Journalists, But Parking Attendants

JAKARTA - Based on the results of the investigation by the Kramat Jati Police, Firdaus Parlindungan (45) who died as a result of being beaten to death on Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, is no longer an active journalist. According to the police, the victim only had an identity card from an online media from Papua which had been inactive for several years.

Kramat Jati Police Chief, Kompol Tuti Aini explained, the victim works as a parking attendant around his house every day.

"After he came here, his job was parking attendant. Maybe he was looking for a job (so he was working in Jakarta)," said Kompol Tuti to VOI, Monday, August 1.

Indeed, continued the police chief, initially the victim worked as a journalist in Papua but when she went to her sister's house in the Cililitan area she was not a journalist.

"His original job was written earlier, journalist. According to his (victim) reporter's card, he has a reporter's card in Sorong, Papua," he explained.

Meanwhile, regarding the case of the death of the victim who was ganged up by the alleged father and son with the initials AE and MRS, there is no connection with the issue of reporting by the victim.

"There is absolutely nothing (related to the news). There is absolutely nothing to do with him being a journalist (with the incident)," he said.

Meanwhile, when interrogated by the police, suspect AE, who was arrested by joint officers, admitted that he was desperate to kill Firdaus for defending his son, MRS.

"What is clear is that I went there (to the victim's house) asking for an explanation. Why was my child being beaten," AE told the police, Monday, August 1.

In addition, according to the suspect's statement, MRS (AE's son), he was upset because the victim was reprimanded by the victim for urinating in the victim's yard.

"My friend was urinating, but I was reprimanded. I said this is his son (AE). Then he said to call 'your fathers'," said MRS.
