Not Disappointed Juventus Bend Real Madrid, Allegri: Against Us The Strongest Team In Europe
JAKARTA - Juventus lost to Real Madrid in a pre-season match. However, the defeat did not make Massimiliano Allegri furious. He even praised the quality of his team against the strongest team in Europe.
In a pre-season match at the Rose Bowl, Los Angeles on Sunday, July 31 local time, the Old Lady lost 0-2 to Real Madrid. The defeat added to Juventus' bad record from Los Blancos.
Because the Bianconeri have lost four times, won once, and drawn once from the last six meetings.
Even though his team did not win, Allegri still gave his appreciation to his players. Because, according to him, Juventus have worked hard against a team that has a strong reputation in Europe.
“A good game that ends a good ten days of work in the United States. We are up against the strongest team in Europe," said Allegri.
"As long as we can play, we try to control possession and don't give the ball away," he continued.
During pre-season, Allegri said his players had progressed rapidly. This makes Allegri happy and satisfied.
"I am satisfied with the efforts of the players. We can still improve a lot and there are players who still have to come back."
From a number of pre-season agendas, Allegri said that he had pocketed Juventus' weaknesses which would be used for the evaluation process. Allegri did everything so that the Old Lady was ready to face the 2022/2023 Italian League.
"We should be able to manage the chances a little more patiently. Now we rest a few days and then get back to work because the season is near."
