AMPI Condemns Haris First's Statement Accusing Golkar Chairman Airlangga Hartarto Of Splitting The KNPI
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Youth Renewal Forces (AMPI) DPP strongly condemns the statement by KNPI Chairman Haris Pertama who accused the General Chair of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, of splitting the KNPI.
"Harris's reckless statement to Pak Airlangga has hurt and insulted the Golkar Party, especially AMPI cadres, because he is the chairman of the AMPI DPP Board of Trustees," AMPI DPP Secretary General Ahmad Andi Bahri said in a written statement quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 27.
He also strongly condemned the baseless statements made by Haris Pertama. According to him, Haris has been beating the drums of war with the big family of the Golkar Party.
Bahri explicitly asked the Golkar Party DPP to revoke Haris Pertama's membership from the Golkar Party.
"Haris has made a lot of noise, especially insulting Pak Airlangga who is the General Chair of the Golkar Party. Insulting Pak Airlangga means insulting the honor of the Golkar Party's institutions, I ask the Golkar Party to immediately fire and remove Haris from membership of the Golkar Party," he asserted.
Bahri also questioned the capacity of Haris Pertama because he himself had fired Haris Pertama as General Chair at the Plenary Meeting of the KNPI DPP in 2021, when Bahri served as Deputy Chairman of the KNPI DPP for the 2018-2021 Period.
"Harry, don't dream in broad daylight, his legitimacy is no longer there as the General Chair of the KNPI, it's funny that he is still shouting here and there in the name of KNPI, he has been dismissed and removed as Chairman of the KNPI through the Plenary Meeting of the KNPI DPP which was chaired by me on March 6, 2021," said the Daily Chairman of the KNPI DPP, Mustahuddin's version.
DPP AMPI chairman Jerry Sambuaga said Haris Pertama's statement was very unethical and deviated from the facts.
"I have instructed all AMPI cadres in remote parts of the country to be at the forefront of defending the dignity of Mr. Airlangga Hartarto as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the AMPI DPP," said Jerry Sambuaga.
