Perpetrator Of Sadistic Murder Of 2 Women In Banyuasin Surrendered To South Sumatra Regional Police, Had Attempted Suicide By Eating Mosquito Coil
PALEMBANG - The perpetrator of the sadistic murder that killed two women in Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra, surrendered to the Sub-Directorate (Sub-Directorate) III of Crime and Violence (Jatanras) of the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of the South Sumatra Police.
"The perpetrator has been taken into custody by the Jatanras Opsnal Unit 2 team in question," said Head of Sub-Directorate III of Jatanras, General Crime Investigation Directorate of the South Sumatra Police, Commissioner of Police Agus Prihadinika, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 25.
According to Agus, the perpetrator BH alias Moko (27) turned himself in on Monday morning at around 10:00 western Indonesia time. Currently, the perpetrators are still being investigated at the South Sumatra Police Headquarters.
Investigators are still asking for information from the perpetrators regarding the murders he committed against victims HR Liasari (37) and Meliani (22) where, he said, the two victims were his girlfriend and his sister.
"The motive is still being investigated, the investigation will continue tomorrow, the initial suspicion is that the suspect was upset because his girlfriend (Meiliani) had a same-sex relationship with her sister (Liasari)," he said.

Based on the information gathered from the police, it is known that the perpetrator BH admitted that he had hit the victims' heads using an iron rod from a truck jack many times until they were helpless, on Sunday (24/7) night at around 23.00 western Indonesia time.
For his actions, BH said he regretted it to the police investigators. The perpetrator had tried to commit suicide by eating mosquito coils.
The two victims were found dead in their bedroom in Meritai Hamlet, Pangkalan Gelebak Village, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency, on Monday morning and local residents reported to the police.

The two victims' bodies were evacuated by police officers to the Bhayangkara M Hasan Hospital in Palembang for a post-mortem, which resulted in the victim dying after suffering severe head injuries.
The victim's body was handed over to the Forensic Instalation Officer at Bhayangkara M Hasan Hospital in Palembang to the family on Monday, July 25, afternoon for burial.
