COVID-19 Update As Of July 25: 4.048 New Cases From Examination Of 110.519 Specimens

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 110.519 specimens were examined with the results of 4.048 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6.172.390 and active cases have increased by 11 to 40.463 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Monday, July 25.

Today's recovered cases increased by 4.023 cases, bringing the total to 5.975.011 people recovered. Then, there were 14 positive confirmations that died and a total of 156.916 people.

The province with the highest new cases was in DKI Jakarta with 2.168 cases and a total of 1.313.617 cases. Followed by West Java with 698 new cases with a total of 1.27.752 cases. Banten has 534 new cases and a total of 307.398 cases. Then, East Java with 220 new cases and a total of 583.180 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 2.377 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an increase of 644 recovered cases, Banten with an additional 317 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 250 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 102.974.551.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week was 5.94 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 3,980 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 202.220.748 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 169.838.808. people underwent a second dose of vaccination.

While the third dose of vaccination was 54.979.848. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208.265.720 people.
