Rising Slowly, COVID-19 Cases In Bangka Belitung Become 32 Patients
BABEL - The Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 in Belitung Regency (Babel) reported 32 cases of COVID-19 Babel as of Monday, July 25, as many as 32 patients.
"There are currently 32 active cases of COVID-19 in Belitung," said Head of the Belitung COVID-19 Task Force, Sahani Saleh in Tanjung Pandan, Babel, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, quoted from Antara, Monday, July 25.
According to him, of the 32 active cases of COVID-19, one person is undergoing treatment at the Marsidi Judono Hospital in Belitung.
"Meanwhile, 31 other patients are undergoing self-isolation under the supervision of the local health department," he said.
He added that in recent days the number of daily COVID-19 cases in the area had increased.
Therefore, his party asked the public to continue to comply with health protocols, one of which is to continue to use masks outside the room.
"In accordance with directions from the President to return to wearing masks outside the room to reduce the risk of transmitting COVID-19," he said.
He appealed to people who have not participated in the COVID-19 vaccination program to immediately visit health facilities and vaccine outlets available in the area.
"Vaccination helps prevent the transmission of COVID-19 and reduces the risk of death from COVID-19," he said.
