Making A Living In Purbalingga, Two Clothing Sellers From South Sumatra Were Even Arrested During A Drug Party At A Boarding House

PURBALINGGA - The Purbalingga Police Narcotics Unit uncovered a case of psychotropic abuse. Two TFA actors (21) and D (23) were arrested from a boarding house in Kemangkon District, along with the evidence.

"The suspects arrested are TFA and D, both residents of Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province (Sumsel)," said Purbalingga Deputy Police Chief Kompol Pujiono, in a written statement, Saturday, July 23.

The Deputy Chief of Police was accompanied by the Head of Public Relations, Iptu Edi Ratio and the Head of the Narcotics Unit Iptu Amirudin.

It was explained that the two suspects came to Purbalingga with the intention of selling clothes. However, when they were already active in Purbalingga, the two bought psychotropics online which they planned to consume themselves.

"Both of them joint money to buy psychotropics online. After making the payment and the goods are sent according to the agreed address," he explained.

When secured by officers who were conducting observations, it was found that the two people had psychotropic substances. Then the two were secured along with other evidence to the Purbalingga Police.

From the two suspects, 9 pills of Calmet Alprazolam were secured, one black plastic package, one white diaper, one pink and blue paper, a black cangklong bag, two mobile phones and two proofs of taking money.

The Deputy Chief of Police added that the suspect was subject to Article 62 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 5 of 1997 concerning Psychotropics. The penalty is a maximum imprisonment of five years and a maximum fine of Rp. 100 million.
