"As we were waiting for, the request for protection was not continued by the Court. Plaintiffs confirm that the decision to end the case was a personal wish without any pressure or dissatisfaction," wrote Ricky Martin's representative.
“This is nothing more than a troubled individual making false accusations with the intention of supporting them. We are delighted that our clients have seen justice served and can move on with their lives and careers,” they continued.
Launching NME, the Livin' La Vida Loca singer hopes that her niece can find professional help so she can live a happy life and not hurt others.
"Now my priority is to recover. And how do I recover? With music. I can't wait to get back on stage," concluded Ricky Martin.
Previously, the public was shocked by a 21-year-old man named Dennis Yadiel Sanchez who sued his uncle Ricky Martin for sexual harassment. Reportedly Ricky and Dennis had an intimate relationship for seven months.
Ricky Martin's side denied the lawsuit, explaining that Dennis had mental health problems.
“The allegations against Ricky Martin relating to the request for protection are false and fabricated. We believe the truth will be revealed," said Ricky Martin.
