Residents' House Behind Cipinang Prison Burns, 45 Personnel Deployed To Fight The Fire
JAKARTA - Residents' houses in the East Jakarta area caught fire on Thursday, July 21. The incident occurred at around 22:52 western Indonesia time, right behind the Cipinang Prison, Cipinang Pulo Street, RT 01/014, Cipinang Besar Utara Village, Jatinegara District.
Head of East Jakarta Fire fighter Sub-dept. of Ops, Gatot Sulaeman, said that the object that caught fire was a three-story house with an area of 30 square meters.
"The cause is suspected to be an electric short circuit," said Gatot in his report, Friday, July 22.
According to the owner of the house, initially, there was a power outage in the house. Then the homeowner raised the electricity meter again.

"But suddenly there was a light on the 3rd floor of the house," he said.
As a result of the fire, the loss was estimated at IDR 100 million. Luckily, the fire was extinguished at 23.39 western Indonesia time with 9 fire engines.
"A total of 45 personnel were deployed. The fire burned a house unit inhabited by 1 family head (KK). There were no casualties or injuries in the fire incident," he said.
