Case Of Subsidized Fertilizer Sales In NTB, Police Name 2 Suspects From Farmer's Group
NTT - The Special Criminal Investigator of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police has named two suspects in the alleged online sale of subsidized fertilizer at high prices.
"There are two suspects, with the initials MKR and SK," said Head of the Sub-Sector of Industry, Trade and Investment (Indagsi) of the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) of the NTB Police Commissioner I Gede Harimbawa in Mataram, NTB, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, July 20.
He said the determination of the two suspects in this case was based on the results of the case title. MKR, from Lingsar, West Lombok Regency, and SK, From Pringgarata, Central Lombok Regency, are suspected of selling subsidized fertilizer outside the Definitive Plan for Group Needs (RDKK).
They are both listed as part of a farmer group receiving subsidized fertilizers. MKR, head of a farmer group in Lingsar, and SK a member of a farmer group in Pringgarata.
"Their method was revealed after selling 'online' (online) at a high price above the set price," he said.
The origin of the subsidized fertilizers they sell, he continued, was obtained from a reduction in the ration, ie from what should have received 10 tons per farmer group, it was reduced to 5 tons.
"So the 5 tons that he got, were sold 'online' at a price higher than the price of subsidized fertilizer. Automatically there will be profits," he said.
With the construction of such cases, MKR and SK were named suspects who allegedly violated Article paragraph 1 letter b of Law Number 7/1995 concerning Juncto Economic Crimes Article 30 paragraph 2 and paragraph 3 of the Minister of Trade Regulation No. 15/M/DAG/PER/4 /2013 concerning the Procurement and Distribution of Subsidized Fertilizers for the Agricultural Sector.
Although he has been named a suspect who faces up to two years in prison, Harimbawa said that investigators did not make any arrests for reasons of cooperative attitude.
